Adira Blumenthal ’23 (computer science), ’24 T5 was featured in a recent Q&A for the Computing Research Association’s (CRA) Student Pathways into Research in Computing series.

Adira joined the ROCHCI lab as an undergraduate researcher during her freshman year. Her impactful work involves building assistive technology for Parkinson’s, especially exploring the potential of new video and voice filters to reduce communication challenges for people with Parkinson’s. Her achievements include ACII Best Paper Nomination, CRA Undergraduate Researcher – Honorable Mention 2022, and Department of Computer Science Outstanding Researcher Award 2023.
