Poster presentations by the summer NSF REU and Xerox fellows
The range of work involved quantifying the movements of Parkinson’s symptoms to using AR/VR to help individuals learn sign language to better understand the impact of automated interview training and the subtle uses of emoji.
We will miss Alex, Spencer, Chase, and Yoona as they leave Rochester today. Thabani, a xerox fellow, will continue his research through the fall.
Special acknowledgment to Wasifur Rahman, Taylan Sen, and Abdullah Al Mamun to mentoring these students. In addition, Betsy Marvin from the Music School and Chigusa Kurumada from the Brain and Cognitive Science dept. have played the role of co-mentors.
